Glazed ceramic teapots retain heat moderately, compared to cast iron teapots. Its advantage is in the versatility of its material itself, since it is non-porous, and therefore does not retain the flavor of the teas that you have infused previously. It exists in multiple colors and shapes, from traditional to contemporary. Enamelled teapots are relatively easy to maintain, although it is customary not to suddenly cool the material. Note, however, that some teas can still stain the material.
