An emblematic creature of Japanese folklore, the Kitsune is a magical animal that is particularly popular in Japan. The Kitsune (狐) is a fox spirit belonging to the yokai family, Japanese supernatural creatures. Polymorphic animal, it has many powers including that of taking on the appearance of a young woman. It is said to be the messenger of Inari, goddess of rice and trade. Of a cunning nature, this yokai loves to play tricks on humans.
